Commissioner Jordan Isrow (District 2)

Overview

Jordan Isrow was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida where he attended Pine Crest School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida before earning his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Miami (UM) School of Law. During his time at UM, he achieved numerous honors, including championing the UM Negotiation Competition and serving as President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society and a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Concurrently, Isrow earned a Master of Business Administration, Cum Laude, from UM’s School of Business Administration. 

After school, Isrow moved to New York City and worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Social Justice Division of the office’s Litigation Bureau. While working in New York, he met his wife Jessica, who was from Parkland and in the midst of completing an externship in New York for her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. They eventually made the decision to move back home to South Florida together after Isrow accepted a job practicing complex business litigation at a reputable firm in Fort Lauderdale.

Following his early career as an Assistant Attorney General in the State of New York and subsequent experience practicing complex commercial litigation with some of South Florida’s premier firms, Isrow was tapped to become an Executive Committee Member and the first ever General Counsel for a leading international cosmetic manufacturer headquartered in Palm Beach. His responsibilities included creating and leading the legal department, overseeing regulatory compliance, and managing risk across six countries. During that time, Isrow was elected to serve as Parkland’s City Commissioner for District 2, and is currently Vice Mayor as he remains devoted to his community and improving the quality of life for its residents. 

After serving four years as General Counsel, Isrow made the decision to return to private practice, joining a boutique firm where he chaired its Litigation Group and handled a broad array of cases including constitutional claims, complex partnership disputes, non-compete and theft of trade secret claims, civil RICO claims and condominium disputes. 

Isrow currently serves as the Founding Member of ISROW LEGAL P.A. where he specializes in complex litigation, corporate counseling, commercial transactions, and government affairs. In addition to ISROW LEGAL, he also founded PureCounsel, an innovative digital marketplace for on-demand legal services, with transparency, predictability and accessibility as its core pillars. These ideals, combined with his commitment to empowering businesses and individuals to effectively manage their legal needs, lie at the forefront of PureCounsel’s mission.

Throughout his career, Isrow has been actively involved in several charities and non-profits such as Jewish Federation of Broward County, Make Our Schools Safe, Fashion Funds The Cure, SOS Children’s Villages, N.I.C.K.’s Camp, Experience Camps, and Parkland Cares, and has served on a myriad of boards and host committees to help raise funds for those in need.

Isrow and his wife Jessica live in Watercrest with his their son, Parker, and daughter, Maya. And when he’s not working, he enjoys golfing, playing tennis, movies, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
