HandsOn Broward
HandsOn Broward empowers people to create meaningful impact for causes about which they care. By leveraging the power of people and socially responsible businesses, they transform local communities through meaningful hands-on projects that make a difference.
HandsOn Broward mobilizes thousands of people each year to revitalize schools, parks, playgrounds, nonprofits, and neighborhoods. Their volunteers create art in public spaces, build sustainable gardens, teach financial literacy, respond to disasters, and work to protect the environment. Opportunities to make an impact are available year-round on a daily basis to people of all ages.

In Jacob's Shoes
In Jacob's Shoes, is a 501(c)(3) public charity which gives children in need the opportunity to walk with pride and go to school or play sports with dignity. In Jacob’s Shoes provides new and gently used shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and athletic gear to local children in need and also provides grants for camp, aftercare, sports, and enrichment programs.
Parkland Buddy Sports
Parkland Buddy Sports, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization providing quality sport programs for children and young adults with special needs in an empowering, challenging, and loving environment where the emphasis is on having fun, making friends, and realizing full potential. Their volunteers, both students and adults, learn patience, tolerance, and the ability of one person to change the life of another. The sports programs are provided free of charge to everyone and include children from all over Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. The programs include football, soccer, basketball, running, tennis, kickball, golf, and yoga.
Harvest Drive Florida
Founded in 1992, Harvest Drive Florida is a 501(c)3 non-profit that seeks to promote the concept of philanthropy to students in Broward County Public Schools. Working in conjunction with community partners, students provide food and other necessities to Broward County schools’ families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday and throughout the year. The Harvest Drive strives to educate students on the issue of hunger and empower them to take leadership roles in lessening hunger’s devastating impact.
Relay for Life
Relay for Life is the signature fund-raising event of the American Cancer Society. The event is about togetherness and, while that is currently challenging, the organization is continuing its fight and creating a supportive community.
