Jackie Wehmeyer, Director of Human Resources
As Director, Jackie leads our Human Resources team and partners strategically with Administration to ensure alignment with the City's mission. Jackie joined the City of Parkland in December of 2018 and brings over 24 years of municipal HR experience. Jackie is a past president of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and possesses SPHR, IMPA-SCP, and SHRM-SCP designations as well as her MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

Kristin Milligan, Human Resources Manager
Kristin is the newest member of the Human Resources team having joined the City in June 2019 and brings 6 years of Human Resources experience. Kristin partners with the HR Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations and leads Human Resources projects for the City. She posses PHR and SHRM-CP designations and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Employment Law from Nova Southeastern University.

Shaina Smilovitz, HR & Community Programs Coordinator
Shaina joined the City of Parkland in 2014 as a trainer providing development to both our employees and residents. Since then, Shaina has become our HR & Community Programs Coordinator and is the City's "go-to" person for HR help. Shaina has a Master's of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Carlos Albizu University.
