The City of Parkland is proud to provide a variety of classes and trips for the seniors in our community. Each month there will be a number of different classes and field trips that are offered. They are free of charge for Parkland residents aged 62 and over. Advanced registration is required to enter the lottery for all classes and trips.
To register for a senior classes or programs, proof of residency and age (driver license or other valid photo ID) in addition to a completed application must be on file with Parks and Recreation. On registration weekends please call 954.757.4190 anytime after 5:00 p.m. on Friday through 9:00 a.m. on Monday and leave a clear message stating your name(s), best telephone number to confirm your status and whether you are interested in being entered into the lottery for that months class or trip. Spouses and significant others can call in for each other, however, friends need to call in on their own. Due to the popularity and limited space, all participants are chosen by a random lottery.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Parkland, should contact the office of Jackie Wehmeyer, Senior Director of Strategy and Intergovernmental Affairs/ADA Coordinator at (954) 757-4134, or Florida Relay at 7-1-1 or www.ftri.org/relay, as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
