Wednesday, June 26th, 3:30 p.m.
Location: Parkland Library Meeting Room

Speaker Andres Diaz will discuss the program he created that saved his life through understanding the creative power of feelings. He is the author of "My Worst Days are the Best!" and is a father, former sergeant of U.S. Marines, founder of Creative Emotional Intelligence, and a music producer who has produced for Grammy Award-winning artists. He guides people toward emotional self-creation as a way to overcome depression, PTSD, anxiety, suicide ideation, and survivor's guilt, which is something he dealt with after losing eight of his friends in the war when he was a U.S. Marine. Creative Emotional Intelligence can be a resource for healthy emotional development by teaching people the basics of how they can implement it in their own lives to develop meaning in the aftermath of chaos. Registration required.
