Wednesday, January 19, 2022
Resilience is the ability to recover following difficult times and something we all have innately inside of us. When we go through a hard time, how we move forward is by our resilience, persistence, and grit. Resilience is what allows us to move forward while never forgetting what happened to us. This conversation will focus on resilience and grit amongst a community impacted by tragedy. Dr. Halle Solomon is the Assistant Program Director at Eagles’ Haven. Sarah Lerner advises Aerie yearbook at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. She was named the 2014 Sun-Sentinel High School Journalism Adviser of the year, 2019 Gold Key recipient and 2020 Special Recognition Adviser from CSPA, as well as executive board member for Florida Scholastic Press Association.
