Artist’s Reception with Alicia Maria Vallejo
Saturday, February 9, 2019
Alicia María Vallejo, a professional anthropologist, has found, in art and painting, a form of communion with the environment over time and through her own experiences. Her painting fosters spiritual renewal through works in which color, taste and sound acquire harmony. Alicia Maria's work offers vivid and clean lines with vibrant and cheerful colors, and daring compositions with contemporary touches in which it is easy to note the influence of Neo Cubism and Pop Art. The artist’s optimistic vision permeates her paintings and invites a celebration of the simple and beautiful things in life. Vallejo’s artwork has been exhibited in Monaco, Belgium, France, China, Colombia, Peru, and the United States. Her art piece “Passion” was exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Her work will be on display February 1st through 28th.
