Restarting Parkland

Restarting Parkland

The City of Parkland (City) had begun re-opening in as safe and prudent of a manner as possible. It is imperative all residents continue to take precautions to protect themselves and others. This means vigilant use of properly worn facial coverings and honoring physical distancing at all times. We must continue to take measures to avoid contracting or spreading the Coronavirus. Failure to do so could result in reverting back to closures and restrictions.

Here is where we are:

Parkland Businesses

All of the following may operate, in some cases with restrictions, so long as full compliance with CDC guidelines are adhered to and with regard to physical distancing and properly worn facial coverings where practical:

Restaurants and retail stores may operate with strict physical distancing and use of facial coverings. Indoor seating areas may not exceed 50% of posted capacity. In some cases outdoor seating can be expanded or added subject to City approval. Total capacity of indoor and outdoor seating cannot exceed 100% of posted capacity.

Businesses providing personal services such as cosmetology salons and specialty salons may now operate subject to CDC guidelines and safety precautions laid out by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Private club swimming pools and golf courses, community rooms, fitness centers, and gyms in homeowners associations may operate at no greater than 50% capacity.
