Q. How much does it cost?
A. The City of Parkland is proud to host the Parkchella event free of charge to our community. There is no entry fee or ticket required to attend.
Q. What is the live music?
A. Spazmatics Band will play at 6:30 p.m.
Q. Is this event family friendly?
A. Yes. This is a family friendly event.
Q. How does parking work?
A Parking is available on site at Pine Trails Park.
Q. Can I bring my own food,drinks and snacks?
A. Yes. There will be food trucks available onsite. Cash and/or credit cards will be needed to purchase items from the food trucks. No alcohol is allowed in the park.
Q. Can I bring my own chair or blanket?
A. You are welcome to bring your own folding chair or blanket. No personal tents or large umbrellas are allowed.
Q. Can I bring my pets?
A. Sorry, no pets are allowed in the park for this event. Service animals are permitted.
Q. Will there be restrooms available?
A. Yes. Park restrooms are available and are nearby to the event.
Q. Will the P-Rec building be open?
A. No. The building will not be open to the public and no restrooms will be available in the building.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Please remember to bring your sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water.
Q. Who do we contact for more information?
A. You can call 954-757-4105 for more information prior to the event. At the event there will be a Parkland tent set up with staff and/or volunteers able to answer questions.
Q. In the event of a cancellation or weather delay, how will the public be informed?
A. Please utilize our Special Events Hotline Recording 954-757-4215 for event updates and cancellation information. We will also inform the public via social media on the City of Parkland’s Facebook page.
