Description: The Parkland Health Fair is a federally-recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization formed in 1998 to promote health awareness and early detection of health problems. Currently, its primary activity id conducting an annual health fair at which free medical services are provided. The Health Fair is held each year in February. All local health care providers participate in this event. With the cooperation of local hospitals and county health organizations, this organization has been able to provide a wide variety of health screening procedures all at no cost to the people of Parkland.
