Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

The purpose of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board is to:

• Make Recommendations as to size and locations of public parks in the city.
• Make recommendations as to the facilities to be provided at public parks in the city.
• Make recommendations as to the establishment of parks and recreations systems and programs for the citizens of the city.
• Recommendations on other matters involving recreational services and facilities as may be requested from time to time by the city commission.

The Parks and Recreation Board meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at City Hall. Occasionally, there are additional meetings during the month regarding special issues.
