New Public Works / Fire Station Facility

At a City Commission Workshop held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, the City Commission selected the exterior architectural scheme for the new Public Works/Fire Station Facility being located at the Old City Hall site. ACAI Associates Inc., the City's Design Architect, proposed two renderings; one similar in characteristics to the Parkland Town Center and another similar in characteristics to the buildings at the City’s Municipal Complex. The City Commission opted to go with keeping the City buildings consistent and felt that the selected design was warmer and a better representation of the City’s rural atmosphere.
