City of Parkland Receives Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the City of Parkland with the GFOA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its budget. The award represents a significant achievement by the City. It reflects the commitment of the City and its staff to meet the highest principals of governmental budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the City had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. This is the first year that the City received the award and we look forward to future awards.
