American Voice 2004
Useful website for students who are doing reports on social issues. Submit a question to Doctor Dave on one of the following social issues: Abortion and Contraception, Capital Punishment, Country of Origin Labeling, Medical Malpractice, Minimum Wage, Same-Sex Marriage, Sex Education, Social Security and Stem Cell Research. Site includes downloadable fact sheets and statistical tables.

Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids
Separate lesson plans on U.S. government for ages K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

This website has a great section on finding information on the Internet that will answer questions on your homework assignments.

As seen on the Discovery Channel for Kids. Custom Classroom gives you access to some of the most powerful teaching tools available online — plus the ability to save documents in your own personal account. Find hundreds of original lesson plans, all written by teachers for teachers. Other tools include a puzzle maker, lesson planner, worksheet generator, quiz center and clip art gallery.

Cool Math
Coolmath is a group of math websites specially designed to make math fun and easy to learn! It includes math games, puzzles, brain benders, flash cards, geometry art along with a TON of really clear math lessons ranging from the basics of 2+2 up through Algebra.

Discovery School
This website is an excellent resource for locating lesson plans, teaching tools and homework helpers for kids. This site also has brain booster games, clipart, puzzle makers and science experiments. Great resource for Science information.

Fact Monster
Its deliriously fun! Lessons in world news, US history, people, math, science and sports. The home work center has activities in English, geography, history, math, science and social studies. Comes complete with an atlas, almanac, dictionary and encyclopedia.
