This database offers information on programs for international students who want to study in the U.S., including TOEFL requirements, financial aid options and more. With each concurrent user purchased with your annual subscription to the TERC, your library will automatically receive unlimited access to the premium services found in TERC including online practice tests and personal search agents.

Whether it's preparing admission materials or getting a heads-up on preparatory tests, the Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) is Thomson Gale's online tool designed to help students — from high school to graduate school to specialty school — prepare to make their further education decisions easier.

Users can search TERC by using any of the following intuitive search paths:

Specialty & Career Program - Search career schools, vocational schools, IT programs, Executive Education programs and private secondary schools

Test Preparation - Practice for college/graduate school admissions; exams to help you earn college credit; civil service/licensing; military entrance exams; and the high school equivalency exam
Search Results
Each search returns school information, practice tests, access to eBooks, school and financial aid applications, fee-based assistance on everything from entrance essays to resumes and cover letters and much more to assist in users make educated decisions concerning their future. All results can be collected and stored in Personalized Toolboxes users can create right from TERC — allowing users to keep the information they need where it can always be found quickly and easily.
