SCIRUS: The Web Search Engine Dedicated To Science

Finding relevant scientific data on the web can prove difficult. Generic search engines show up many irrelevant results and it is easy to miss out on key scientific information. To stop you from being left in the dark, Elsevier Science has developed a guiding light – SCIRUS, a search engine specifically designed for scientists.

It helps you easily locate high quality scientific information from the web by illuminating only those sites and journal databases with scientific content. It also spotlights peer-reviewed articles and PDFs that are hard to see using other search engines.
