Infotrac Kids Edition

Infotrac Kids Edition  Screen ShotInfoTrac Kid's Edition is Designed especially for elementary schools (Grades K-6) and features journal articles on subjects that are taught at those grade levels. It gives children easy access to magazines, reference books and newspaper articles selected just for their age group.

 

This service allows you to access:

  • 300 full color Rand McNally Maps
  • Information Please Almanac (Atlas and Yearbook)
  • Information Please Sports Almanac
  • World Almanac 2000 and 2001 editions

  • Columbia Encyclopedia

One of the useful features is the Tool Box. The resources in the Tool Box help kids organize their information so they can write a report. Topics include how to write an outline, how to write a topic sentence, how to write a conclusion and how to cite to a source.

Running a  subject search using this service is easy! Simply click on START SEARCHING. You can also email the articles that you find to yourself using this service.
