Computer Classes
Open to Adults & Young Adults Grades 6 and up.

Introduction to Email (1 ½ hours).

This is a hands-on introductory class for people with little or no experience using Email. Class participants will learn how to use Yahoo Mail and create their own email account. Topics covered include:

• An overview of client based mail vs. webmail and free vs. subscription based email.
• How to read an email address.
• Folders and mail functions.
• Composing messages and responding to email that you receive.
• Formatting mail messages and add smiley faces (emoticons).
• Replying to mail messages.
• Downloading and sending attachments.
• How to avoid infecting your system with viruses.
• Beating phishing scams.
