Internet Tools & Tips (1 ½ hours).

This is a hands-on class for intermediate and advanced Internet users. Enhance your web experience by learning more about:

• Shareware and Freeware for instant messaging, web & graphic development, reading Adobe PDF documents, digital photography, multimedia files and file extraction.
• Maintaining your PC using Windows Update.
• Saving a list of Favorite websites.
• Viewing and clearing the History of websites you’ve visited.
• Saving a custom Home Page.
• Parental Controls.
• Privacy controls, managing your browser cache and deleting cookies.
• Internet security.
• Protecting your PC from Spyware, viruses and pop-up ads. Attendees will practice updating and running several Spyware and Adware programs and clean up the PCs.
• Avoiding Internet Phishing Scams.
