Parkland Library's Summer Storytimes 2008
June 16th - August 7th - Sponsored by Sterling Bank

Summer Storytime Registration is from MON May 12th to SAT May 24th. During this two week period you may register your child’s name on our numbered storytime class lottery list. There will be a separate list for each class. You may register each child’s name only once. Numbers will be drawn on May 27th. All selected participants will be notified by May 28th. You must be a Parkland Library cardholder to register. Please bring your library card or provide us with your card number. Registration is limited, one class per child. No Registration Required:
  • Twilight Tales and TunesTwilight Tales and Tunes
    Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (Ages 2 and up)

    Join us for a half hour of books, songs, flannel board stories and guitar sing-a-longs. Registration is not required.

 
Registration Required:
  • Books and BabiesBooks and Babies
    Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 10:00 AM
    (12-23 months with parent/caregiver)

    A freeplay class that explores toys, puzzles and books. We conclude with stories, songs and finger plays. This class will be held in the library meeting room. Siblings are not permitted.

  • Toddler Twos Toddler Twos
    Tuesdays at 11:00 AM
    (24-35 months with parent/caregiver)

    An introduction to literature through stories, music, rhymes, and flannel boards. This class will be held in the library meeting room. Siblings are not permitted.

  • Storytime StarsStorytime Stars
    Thursdays at 10:30 AM or 3:30 PM
    (3-5 year olds unaccompanied by parent/caregiver)

    Stories, songs, finger plays, flannel boards and art projects based on a new theme each week.

  • Rookie Readers Rookie Readers
    Tuesdays at 3:00 PM
    (Kindergarten - Second Grade)

    We combine stories, poems and crafts to make a fun library experience. This class will be held in the library meeting room.
