Internet and Book Catalog Workstations

The Library has 10 flat screen Internet-Catalog access workstations for public use. Six workstations are currently available for adult use; 4 for children. One of the Children's PCs is an I-Mac. We welcome and encourage children to use the library, however, children under the age of 12 must not be left unattended.

In the near future, the library will also have active plug-ports available for lap top use.

Our internet computers are high-speed T1 lines. The computer catalog of books is accessible from home, as well as in the library, via the web page. We also have many research databases for homework, information or entertainment. Most of these can be used from home; you will need your library card number to access them and sometimes also the last 4 digits of your phone number. Printing from the library’s computers is on the honor system: 10 cents per page, except from the catalog, which is free. Currently, there is no word processing software available, so downloads are limited to emails or printing. Please ask staff for assistance.

Please Note: You are asked to sign in to use the computers in the library in order to manage the waiting list. You may use only your first name or whatever you answer to if we have to find you when there is a wait. Sign-in sheets are shredded daily to protect your privacy.
