Programs For Children:

• Friday, February 5 6:30pm City of Parkland Musical Montage Series:  
  African Drumming  Hear the fiery rhythms of West Africa performed by Master Drummer, Ndakhte Ndiaye at the Parkland YMCA. The workshop will include ancient rhythms, techniques and use of the djembe drum. Ages 4 and up. Registration required; call the Library. 954 757-4200

• Monday, February 8 3:30pmCreative Kids: Chocolate Making with Book n Cookin
  (ages 8 & up) Join Miss Robyne from Book n Cookin for chocolaty sweet Valentine stories.  Then learn how to make chocolates for your own Valentine. Registration begins January 6th. 954 757-4200

• Wednesday, February 10 4:15pm Chess Club (ages 8 and up)
  Parkland Library Chess Club is for children, ages 8 and up. Beginners can learn to play and players meet your match!  You must be a Parkland Library card holder to join. Children must be 8 years or older. Registration required. 954 757-4200

• Tuesday, February 16 6:30pm Book Bunch: book group for 3rd & 4th grade
  Join us for our bi-monthly book chat for third and fourth graders.  We will eat a snack and talk about the book. This month’s book is Help! I’m a Prisoner in the Library by Eth Clifford.  Registration is required. 954 757-4200
