Our mission is to preserve the character of Parkland by developing and maintaining the highest quality of landscaping and native habitat on private and public lands. This is all accomplished through sound management practice of natural areas.

The goal of the Public Works Environmental Division is to maintain the splendor of the City of Parkland's natural landscape. The division is dedicated to meeting the challenges of conserving the ecological integrity of Parkland.

Our goal is to preserve and enhance the environmental features of the City through public awareness and environmental education. This division provides information about ecological and social issues of importance to the City of Parkland, Broward County, and South Florida.

Duties
The Public Works Environmental Division manages the natural areas of the City and encourages preservation of the City tree canopy through conservation and best management practices.

The Public Works Environmental Division is dedicated to meeting the challenges of conserving the ecological integrity of Parkland and preserving the character of Parkland by developing and maintaining the highest quality of landscaping and native habitat on private and public lands.
