On Monday, October 18 and Tuesday, October 19, the City of Parkland Parks and Recreation Department will be taking an overnight trip to Mount Dora, Florida. Mount Dora is a quaint New England Style Village in a lake front setting that is high on charm and low on stress. Enjoy a sunset boat cruise on Mt. Dora Lake, a steam engine tour of the town, a theatre show, antique and craft shops, art galleries and much more.

This trip is open to both residents and non-residents ages 50 and older. The fee for this trip is $250 per person and includes transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy), all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), snacks, all admission and activity fees and all docents. This trip is limited to 50 participants. The trip itinerary does require walking.
