Every child age 2 years through 5th grade will receive a “goodie bag” for registering for the library’s “Dig into Reading!” Summer Reading Club. The children keep a reading log of books they have read to earn prizes all summer. The more books you read the more prizes you get! Sponsored by the Parkland Friends of the Library. Geocache Challenge! How to Class ( Fun for the Whole Family)

Learn how to geocache at the library! Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. The only necessities are a GPS device or a GPS-enabled mobile phone so that you can navigate to the cache! We will get outdoors and find the geocache near the library! The City of Parkland Geocache Challenge will begin on June 13 with this Geocaching class and end on August 13. All families who complete the challenge will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a handheld GPS. Get outdoors and geocache! This challenge is for Parkland residents only.Register online

Jurassic Parts: Ice Age Rampage (age 7 and up)
