A More Perfect Union

A Special Week at the Library

The Parkland Library is proud to designate the week of September 13 through 17 as “A More Perfect Union” week. The “We the People” Book Collection will be on display and available for check out. During this week storytime classes will use this theme with related stories and crafts. Also, the Ballad of America program will be presented on the 15th to celebrate American history through folk music.

Ballad of America:  Celebration of Constitution Day
September 15 at 3:30 PM

With vocals, guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass fiddle, mountain dulcimer, and a wealth of traditional American folk songs, Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band bring the history of the United States vividly to life. Registration required.
