Tuesday, March 6th, 6:15 p.m.
Location: Library Meeting Room

It's often been said that our stories make us who we are – and that's true not only for people, but for places, as well. Come hear a lively, entertaining, educational – and mostly true – collection of legends, folktales and myths from the Sunshine State. No matter how long you've lived here, you will be amazed at what a fascinating place this is! Caren S. Neile, Ph.D., is a professional storyteller. She teaches at Florida Atlantic University, and performs nationally and abroad. Her most recent book is Florida Lore: The Barefoot Mailman, Cowboy Bone Mizell, the Tallahassee Witch and Other Tales. Dr. Neile appears weekly on public radio WLRN and writes a storytelling column for the Jewish Journal. Registration required.
