cgardneryoung@cityofparkland.org
Serving
as Parkland's City Manager since February 2007.
As City
Manager for the City of Parkland, I am charged with providing municipal
services as impartially and professionally as possible to all of our
residents and visitors. In our Commission-Manager form of government,
the elected Mayor and City Commissioners decide the City's priorities
and level of services. As City Manager, it is my responsibility
to direct the City staff in the implementation of the City Commission's
policy decisions. My mission includes making Parkland cleaner and safer,
keeping it fiscally strong, balancing commercial development with neighborhood
needs and enhancing public trust through a more transparent government.
It is a privilege to be appointed as City Manager for the Parkland
