How do I get a library card?
Library card applications can be completed in person at the Library.
Proof of residency in the City of Parkland is required. Driver's license, picture ID, voter's registration or utility bill with Parkland address are accepted.
Non-resident students, business owners, teachers, and visitors may be eligible. See About The Library / Basic Services for more information.

How do I renew a book or movie?
• Select Catalog and Account then Renew My Items, from the Library page of the website.
• Enter your user name, which is your library card number.
• Enter your password, which is the last four digits of your telephone number.
• Select My Current Loans.
• Select the items you wish to renew.
• Click Renew Selected Loans or All Loans.
Check back under My Current Loans to see your new due date.
You can also email or call the Library.

What is my user name and password?
Your user name is your library card number. Your password is the last four digits of your telephone number.

Do you proctor exams?
The Parkland Library staff is available to proctor examinations for students taking distance or online courses. Exam materials can be sent to the Library prior to the scheduled exam date. There is a service fee for Parkland residents of $10 per exam. The non-resident fee is $20 per exam. Contact the Library in advance to schedule.

How do I sign up for Storytime?
We are pleased to introduce online registration!
This will enable you to register your child for storytime on a first come, first serve basis through our website on the storytime page. Your Parkland Library card is required in order to register. Registration is limited to one class per child. Within a few days you will receive an email informing you that your child is in the class or on a wait list. For further assistance, call Michele or Wendy at (954)-757-4207.

Do you have study rooms?
We do not have any rooms for individual or group study. You may use the meeting room if there is no event.
