Vegetative Storm Debris Removal Continues in Parkland

The City of Parkland continues the massive task of removing trees, limbs, palm fronds, and other storm-related vegetative debris from our public streets, public areas, and private communities.  This process will continue for approximately 45-60 days with dedicated crews working SEVENS.  That's seven days a week from 7:00am to 7:00pm.  The Mayor, the City Commission, and our dedicated crews are committed to returning Parkland to its pre-Irma luster--and we appreciate your patience and understanding of the scope of this process.

Remove Hurricane Shutters

Remove Hurricane Shutters for Safety after a Storm

We hope you weathered Hurricane Irma safely.  In the interest of your continued safety, the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department reminds everyone it is dangerous to leave your hurricane shutters up once the storm has passed.  As outlined in the City of Parkland storm shutter ordinance, it is prohibited to keep shutters installed for more than 10 days after a storm for several reasons.  It impedes the in/out access that emergency responders may need and it cuts off ventilation and light.  We are now passed the allotted time period so please help us keep Parkland safe and remove your shutters until the next storm.
