An Absentee Ballot Request Form will be sent to every voter in Broward County within the next few days enabling voters to exercise the option of voting by mail; no reason required. Due to a recent law change, absentee ballot requests may be made for a specific election or all elections regularly scheduled through 2014, providing that the absentee ballot request is received no later than the Wednesday before the election. Any voter who wishes to vote by absentee ballot must make a request with the Broward County Supervisor of Elections’ Office by using the form received in the mail or the Absentee Ballot Request Form that is availabe online.
