Q. How much does it cost?
A. The City of Parkland is proud to host the Parkchella event free of charge to our community. There is no entry fee or ticket required to attend.
Q. What is the live music?
A. There will be a DJ at the event and two bands. The bands are: Remyz at 6:00 PM and Wonderama at 7:45 PM
Q. What activities will be available?
A. Arts and crafts and face painting. Please note all supplies are limited.
Q. Is this event family friendly?
A. Yes. This is a family friendly event.
Q. How does parking work?
A Parking is available on site at Pine Trails Park.
Q. Can I bring my own food,drinks and snacks?
A. Yes. There will be food trucks available onsite. Cash and/or credit cards will be needed to purchase items from the food trucks. No alcohol is allowed in the park.
Q. Can I bring my own chair or blanket?
A. You are welcome to bring your own folding chair or blanket. No personal tents or large umbrellas are allowed.
Q. Can I bring my pets?
A. Sorry, no pets are allowed in the park for this event. Service animals are permitted.
Q. Will there be restrooms available?
A. Yes. Park restrooms are available and are nearby to the event.
Q. Will the P-Rec building be open?
A. No. The building will not be open to the public and no restrooms will be available in the building.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Please remember to bring your sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water.
Q. Who do we contact for more information?
A. You can call 954-757-4105 for more information prior to the event. At the event there will be a Parkland tent set up with staff and/or volunteers able to answer questions.
Q. In the event of a rain-out how will the public beinformed?
A. In the event of a rain-out, we will inform the public via social media on the City of Parkland’s Facebook page.
